Required for storing and managing downloadable content such as sound and image files.

System tools – Prevent phone from sleeping

Used to ensure smooth audio playback. Your screen is still allowed to lock (go dark).

Hardware controls - Change your audio settings

Required by our custom audio driver for older devices.

Network communication – Full network access

Required for downloading extra content including sound and image files from our servers.

Hardware controls - Control vibration

Used by alarm system to create alarms that optionally vibrate your device.

Network communication – Google Play billing service

Used for optional in-app purchases.

System tools – Run at startup, send sticky broadcast

When your device boots Ambio runs very briefly to synchronize it's alarm system with your system clock. This process is designed to have minimal impact on your device's startup time.

Sticky broadcast is used by the primary audio and the content download systems for stability reasons.

Development tools – Test access to protected storage
